I've been colorblind since birth and although this is just a stamp, I do make actual artwork which I keep separate from this account. It hasn't been easy making artwork when you can't tell the difference between blue and purple or other colors without looking at the rgb slider or asking someone for help.

So I dedicate this stamp to all of you who make art and are visually impaired. Check my gallery to find a stamp for being legally blind also as I am also legally blind.

I dont have a specific colour blind condition, I cant tell the difference between dark blue, purple, darkgreen and black
also orange and red and light purple and pink
oo and light greys and white

Cool stamp. I'm slightly colourblind I have troubles with reds and greens.

Yeah, my blues and purples are difficult to differentiate too. Red from orange as well. The list goes on and on. I can see colors though, still. I can always distinguish blue from red or green from red, and so on. Eventually, I won't be able to do that anymore.

You might like to chech out my stamp for Macular Degeneration. It' isn't a statement of persoanl fact sort of stamp: it's a pro-medical advancement stamp. (I've made a few of this kind.)

Anyway, I love this stamp too! I'm not sure if using this one or the Legally Blind Artist stamp applies to me since I'm only a stamp designer. I mean I work with collaborators, specifically stamp maker games. Also, I'm a newbie at it.

please don't be mad at me for asking this, but when you look at blue or purple is it just gray or is it like a different color?

There is at least 2 types of colorblindness that I know of. There is one where you can't see any colors at all and there is what I have which where you can't tell certain hues of color apart from each other, especially if they are not saturated enough. Pastels and neutral washed out colors are absolutely the worst. So for instance the only way I'll be able to tell blue and purple apart is if the purple has enough red in it to make me see that it purple, otherwise it just looks like another shade of blue to me. And if you want to go the opposite with that scenario, telling pink and purple apart is the same method, when compared side by side, purple needs to have enough blue in it to tell it apart otherwise it just looks pink to me.
